Boutique winemaking born from vineyards shaped by sun and wind, on the Urla Peninsula’s land steeped in at least three thousand years of wine-producing tradition.
Why Urla?
The peninsula offered unique potential: limestone bedrock, distinctive terroir shaped by the Aegean climate and a growing ecosystem of boutique wineries. The selected land in Pınardere gives our wines minerality and lively acidity through its high active-lime content, clay-loam structure and slightly alkaline pH.
Lena and Alihan Haydaroğlu decided to leave the city’s hectic pace and put down roots in Urla’s quiet countryside. After years of preparation, they planted their first vines in 2016. This was both a physical and emotional transformation: a commitment to doing more with less and believing in depth rather than speed.

Our Philosophy
Statera means balance in Latin. Maintaining the delicate balance between tradition and modernity, nature and human intervention, productivity and respect for the environment lies at the heart of our approach.
We use no systemic chemicals in the vineyards; we control disease naturally with sulphur and Bordeaux mixture. Our vines grow on a six-wire VSP (Vertical Shoot Positioning) system aligned north–south.
In the winery, technology supports traditional production rather than replacing it. Fermentation is monitored to a precision of ±0.1°C, and maturation takes place in French oak barrels.
